Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, this small synthesiser company produces electronic instruments for musicians and sonic architects.
The business was established in 2012 by founder Richard Nicol who sold the first Pittsburgh Modular design, the VILFO out of his basement to fund his crippling synthesiser addiction. Since then, the company's mission has been to create meticulously designed, beautiful instruments, ready for use by those jsut starting out on a voyage of discovery as well as long-time synth user.
All Pittsburgh Modular products are hand-built and tested. Their product range includes the Lifeforms range of synthesisers (such as the Blackbox Desktop Synth) and individual modules. Their synths will stand alone, or can easily be expanded.
At Store DJ we understand Pittsburgh Modular's range of synths and modules. Visit us to find out more, and hear them for yourselves.
